Unfolding: Artists’ Books by Teresa Pankratz is a one person exhibition curated and designed by the artist to represent a 30+ year exploration of the artists’ book genre. The exhibition was on view February 17 to March 24, 2019, at Hershberger Art Gallery located on the Goshen College campus in Goshen, Indiana, as part of the Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist Program. In addition to the exhibition, the artist also delivered the lecture Unfolding: A Life in Artists’ Books, led an artists’ book workshop and staged a live performed reading of her work within the gallery space. The exhibition and all events were open to both Goshen College students and community members.

The Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist Program honors the late Eric Yake Kenagy, who was a gifted ceramics student at Goshen College from 1984 until his death in 1986. Teresa was deeply honored to join the distinguished list of artists, musicians, and performers who have been invited to be Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artists, from 1988 to the present.
