Unfolding: Artists’ Books by Teresa Pankratz

On Monday, February 11, you'll find my trusty creative partner (and husband) Bryan Saner and I beginning the installation of Unfolding: Artists’ Books by Teresa Pankratz, a solo exhibit at Goshen College that's part of the Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist Program. I’m honored to have been invited to participate in the program — and am looking forward to spending time on the Goshen College campus in Goshen, Indiana.

Unfolding: Artists’ Books by Teresa Pankratz will be on view February 17 to March 24 at the Hershberger Gallery, located in the Goshen College Music Center. Gallery hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and 2 to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. (The college address is 1700 South Main Street, Goshen, IN 46526. Visitors to the gallery can park in the Music Center parking lot.)

The show is comprised of work representing my 33 years as a book artist — including several rarely shown one-of-a-kind pieces. I like to think of it as an "unfolding narrative" of my life and stories.

In addition to the exhibit, several of the Visiting Artist events are open to the public:

Unfolding: A Life in Artists’ Books, an artist’s talk/lecture on Sunday, March 10, 7 pm at Rieth Recital Hall, located next door to the gallery in the Music Center, followed by a reception in the gallery.

The View From A House In Kansas: A Performed Reading, Tuesday, March 12, 7 pm in Hershberger Gallery.

You’re invited!!
